Oak Farm Roborovskis
After breeding Roborovski hamsters for over 7 years, and keeping Syrians for over 15 years, I have decided to begin breeding Syrian hamsters too!! I have been researching Syrian breeding for the last 2 / 3 years and now feel I have enough knowledge to plan my first litter. Luckily, I know many people who have been breeding Syrian hamsters for many years who are willing to give me the help and info I need for everything to go as smoothly as possible.
On Monday 26th May I attended the Blenheim Palace Hamster Display, which was organised by The Midland Hamster Club. I fell in love with two beautiful hamsters and decided to buy them both to become the foundation of ‘Oak Farm Syrians’!!
They both have excellent temperaments, which is very important when deciding whether to breed from a hamster, and they come from excellent show winning blood lines, so hopefully, they will produce some lovely babies!
The first hamster is a Long Haired Black Eyed Cream Satin Male, who was bred by ‘Tristar’. He is absolutely gorgeous and I have high hopes for him, both in the show world and for future litters sired by him! Unfortunately, he doesn’t yet have a name, but here are a few pics of him:

The second hamster is a Short Haired Sable Female, who was also bred by ‘Tristar’, but she is not related to the male (except very distantly). I also have high hopes for her, and am looking forward to her first litter! Unfortunately, she doesn’t have a name yet either, but here are some pics of her:

I am always very careful when I breed hamsters and I make sure I have enough people lined up for all potential babies to get an excellent home! So, before I mate either of these hamsters, I am hoping to line up at least 15 excellent homes, just to be on the safe side.
So if you are interested in one of these potential future babies then please contact me by email for an informal chat.
